OUTLIERS Theatre Co. is a theatre company in Washington DC that makes work built around immediacy, community, inclusion, advocacy, boldness, and compassionate refusal. Founded in May 2016, OUTLIERS aims to provide artistic experiences that dignify, challenge, and entertain audiences of all identities.

...creating living works of theatre that aim to delight and challenge spectators while investigating how to achieve IMMEDIACY in the relationship between actor, spectator, and our socio-political climate.

...creating COMMUNITY by advocating accessibility for spectators of all socio-economic backgrounds and ability, promoting a culture of inclusion, and developing new work.

...creating projects fueled by the necessity of our community – our COMPASSIONATE REFUSAL is of our own complacency, and of the temptation to produce work based solely upon traditional criteria.
